The front

of the church of the Convent of Santa Cruz in Segovia corresponds to the type of facade-curtain, which was typical of the late Gothic. It is decorated with a trilobed arch and its tympanum shows a type of Pietà venerated by the Catholic monarchs, who acted at the time as protectors of the church. The facade was made of carved and shined limestone by the master architect Juan Guas in the 15th century. Our intervention consisted in cleaning and consolidating the elements, carrying out their volumetric reintegration, treating mortars, and recovering the traditional overhang eave of Segovia architecture as a protective element. This included installing an anti-pigeon system. Financing: Castile and León Historical Heritage Foundation. Execution: Talleres de Arte GRANDA S.A.
