Each of the scenes of this Way of the Cross, made in collaboration with the Sacred Art School of Florence, is independently framed in wood. Paintings are in the pictorial style of an idealized realism. The backgrounds do not represent any contextual elements, but rather a beautiful purple tone that alludes to the liturgical color purple symbolic of penance. On this uniform background, the colorful figures take center stage.
