They are the gifts that sustain the moral life of Christians, permanent dispositions that make man docile to follow the impulses of the Holy Spirit.

The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are: wisdom, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and fear of God.

WisdomIt is the first and greatest of the seven gifts. It refers to the taste for the spiritual, to the capacity to judge according to the measure of God. It is inseparable from charity.

UnderstandingIt is a grace of the Holy Spirit to understand the word of God and to deepen in the revealed truths.

CouncilIt enlightens the conscience in the choices that daily life imposes on it, suggesting to it what is lawful, what corresponds, what suits the soul best.

FortressSupernatural strength to act courageously, to do what God wants of us and to overcome the setbacks of life. It allows to resist the instigations of the internal passions and the pressures of the environment.

ScienceIt gives us to know the true value of creatures in their relationship with the Creator. Thanks to her, man does not esteem creatures more than they are worth and does not place in them, but in God, the end of his own life.

PiedadThrough this gift, the Holy Spirit heals our heart of all hardness and opens it to tenderness towards God and towards our brothers and sisters.

Fear of GodThis gift is the disposition that the Holy Spirit puts in the soul to behave with respect before God. Fear of offending God, humbly recognizing our weakness.
