In addition to the altarpiece, he has also made the <strong>altar table, the ambo, the Stations of the Cross decorating the walls, the stained glass windows with Marian anagram, the tabernacle, the candlesticks, the altar cross, the Blessed Sacrament lamp and the pews.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To <strong>Projects Department<\/strong> de GRANDA was commissioned to take care not only of the decoration of the temple, but also of the design of the space with the purpose of <strong>create a suitable place for worship<\/strong> and of recollection. The starting point was a new and completely empty space. It had to be traditional in style but not too ornate.<\/p>\n<p>GRANDA has opted for a general approach to the <strong>classic project<\/strong> but at the same time simple, not overloaded in excess. For this purpose, a general balance of forms and elements that accompany and reinforce the presbytery area with the central object of the altar, tabernacle and altarpiece has been used.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>six-sided presbytery with vaulting<\/strong> It has been decorated with wooden moldings on the corners and the vault has integrated coffers to cover the altarpiece.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve better illumination and to give <strong>feeling of open space<\/strong>Seven blind windows with interior lighting are proposed instead of wall sconces.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un gran retablo de la Virgen con el Ni\u00f1o preside desde hace pocas semanas el presbiterio de la nueva capilla de diario de la iglesia norteamericana St Pius X, capilla que lleva por nombre Mar\u00eda, madre de Dios y que est\u00e1 dedicada a la Virgen.
