The <strong>U.S. architectural firm, Rhon &amp; Associates<\/strong>contacted us to coordinate and carry out the realization of a customized tabernacle for the <strong>St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester (Massachusetts)<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>The idea was to carry out a <strong>semicircular tabernacle <\/strong>which was to be embedded in a column. The door of the tabernacle would be decorated with three enamels, hand painted, representing: in the upper part, the Holy Spirit; in the central part, corresponding to the door, the Agnus Dei on the altar; and in the lower part, an enamel with adoring angels.<\/p>\n<p>Rhon drew the design but asked us for technical suggestions that would make its realization possible, as well as its elaboration.<\/p>\n<p>It was decided to prepare a wooden structure on which to mount the tabernacle and then fit it into the pillar that Rhon &amp; Associates would manufacture in the United States. This wooden structure would serve as a base for us, but would be completely hidden by the tabernacle.
