Exclusive damask chasuble for the beatification ceremony of 60 Vincentian martyrs in Madrid

The past November 11 Cardinal Angelo Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints proclaimed, in the name of Pope Francis, 60 members of the Vincentian Family beatifiedmartyred during the religious persecution of 1936.

The chasubles with which the celebrants and concelebrants were clothed were handmade in our workshop in Los Rosales.The chasuble of Cardinal Angelo Amato was made specifically for the ceremony, the rest was commissioned by the Episcopal Conference.

MATERIALS AND DESIGN

For the elaboration of the chasuble, the following has been used red apricotred is the liturgical color that corresponds to a mass of martyrs according to ecclesiastical legislation. The design is made up of two elements that form the motifs on the canvas: the cross of Christ and the palm of martyrdom.

In addition, its design is distinguished by the presence of a applied metal cross on the fabric in the chest area and by the presence of an gold braiding which enriches both the collar area and the central strip and stripes.
