After years of decorating the ceiling of the theater, the canvas has been restored for the first time since its creation. It presented humidity stains, fungal remains and a significant layer of dirt. The room was reconstructed in eight months by the architect Bellido following the original plans of Ortiz de Villajos. The muses, goddesses of the arts and knowledge, represent each a different discipline (tragedy, comedy, dance, history, sacred song and astronomy).
