GRANDA chasubles at the dedication of the Valencian parish of La Font d'En Carrós and the consecration of its altar.

The Cardinal Archbishop of Valencia, Antonio Cañizares, presided last May at the dedication mass of the 14th century parish church of the Valencian town of La Font d'En Carrós, and the consecration of its altar.

GRANDA has made the central strip of the chasubles of the about twenty priests who participated in the dedication according to the Argenta model, in viscose 100%. Viscose thread is used especially for embroidery where appearance (color and shine) and resistance to tearing are essential. The raw material of viscose thread is cellulose fibers, so it is a natural product, i.e. an ecological fiber, taken from wood, very suitable for the use and dignity of the liturgy.

The Font d'En Carrós parish church, dedicated to Saint Anthony Martyr, reopened for worship last March, after six months closed for restoration and expansion work on its museum, which houses more than 300 pieces from the 15th to the 20th century.
