One of the most relevant interventions in the building has been the restoration of the ceiling canvascarried out by GRANDA's Restoration Department. The canvas has been repositioned in its original location.
The opening to the public of the Teatro de la Comedía is scheduled for October 15, when the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico will begin its 2015/16 season with the version directed by Helena Pimenta of The Mayor of Zalamea by Calderón de la Barca, with Carmelo Gómez leading the cast.
