Jewel of the XVI century, the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Latas, located in the neighborhood of Latas, in Loredo (Cantabria), is considered one of the most important in the region. The Way of St. James passes through here and is an obligatory stop for pilgrims.
In order to be able to properly attend to the large number of visitors during the summer months, Granda has been in charge of making new confessionals for the church, as well as a new altarpiece for one of its chapels.
The altarpiece, made of polychrome wood, integrates a painting owned by the sanctuary, to which have been added the image of St. James and St. Joseph, the latter two works by Granda.
