Granda opens in Pamplona the exhibition "From beauty to faith".

Different pieces of gold work such as tabernacles, ciboria, chalices and monstrances and hand-embroidered chasubles are some of the works that from today, Wednesday, October 14, can be admired for three days in the exhibition "From beauty to faith" organized by Granda within the Days of Liturgy and Art organized by the Faculty of Theology of the University of Navarra.

With this exhibition, GRANDA aims to bring quality sacred art to the general public, using as a vehicle the handcrafted decorative techniques that have endured through time.

Each of the pieces in the exhibition is an example of the craftsmanship that GRANDA has been producing for over 120 years in its workshops, where the artisans, motivated by the desire to create works perfectly suited for worship, contribute to maintaining the tradition of quality sacred goldsmithing.

The works produced in GRANDA are made with the most refined craft techniques and the best materials, thus guaranteeing the maximum durability of the object. As these works are intended for worship, it is common to use noble materials such as gold and silver, combined with other metallic supports such as bronze, copper and brass. The pieces are also ornamented with enamels and precious and semiprecious stones, as can be seen in the sample, adding color and luminosity.

High-quality traditional materials, such as silk or linen of natural origin, and gold thread, pearls and rhinestones for decoration, are used to give shape to textile ornaments, such as chasubles. The excellence of the fabrics manufactured exclusively for Los Rosales is manifested in their designs inspired by historical compositional schemes from medieval to renaissance times. The beauty of the ornament thus becomes the vehicle for the dignity of the wearer.
