GRANDA is working on the decoration and provision of liturgical elements for the new parish of St. Josemaría in Alcorcón.

In a few months Alcorcón will have a new parish: the parish of St. Josemaría Escrivá. The land where the new church will be located is on Copenhagen Street, between the Juan Carlos University and the Hospital in Alcorcón, in a young neighborhood that already has more than 20,000 inhabitants.

In the parish, currently under construction, Granda is undertaking the project for the refurbishment of the presbytery, which will consist of an enclosed space with two sliding doors.

Granda will also be in charge of the design and elaboration of the altar, the ambo, a baptismal font, a Stations of the Cross, a relief with the scene of St. Josemaría and the universal call to holiness, and an image of Our Lady with Child, as well as the provision of liturgical elements. The confessionals and the refurbishment of the sacristy will also be the responsibility of the sacred art company.

The refurbishment work is expected to be completed in 2016.
