The religious treasures of the Masaveu collection are shown to the public for the first time.

"The Temptations of St. Anthony" by El BoscoThe Despoilment of Christ" of El GrecoSt. Catherine's, "santa Catalina" of ZurbaránVirgin and Child" by MurillThe Liberation of St. Peter" by Bartolomeo Cavarozz, "Triptych of the Descent from the Cross" by Joos van Cleve the Elder or "St. Bernardine of Siena with a donor" by Jacomart, are some of the most important works of art. 64 paintings and sculptures of a religious naturebelonging to the Masaveu collection, which can be seen for the first time at CentroCentroin Madrid on Thursday, November 28 until May 15, 2014.

The Masaveu Collection is considered one of the most important private collections in Spain. It is made up of about 1500 works from the 12th to the 19th centuries.
