Monument to the Unborn Child

It is located in Slovakia and is the work of the young Slovak sculptor Martin Hudaceka.

It expresses not only the pain, regret and repentance of mothers who have had abortions, but also the forgiveness and love of the unborn child for the mother.

The child appears sculpted in glass, while kneeling beside him is a repentant mother depicted in stone.

The idea came from a group of young mothers aware of the value of any human life and the harm inflicted on women's health through abortion.
