Today we show you this special tabernacle that combines two functions: that of the tabernacle, to guard the sacred species, and that of the monstrance, allowing the exposition of the Sacred Form for Eucharistic adoration.
Due to the limited space available in some chapels, our goldsmiths devised this special tabernacle to save space: a piece that could be anchored to the wall, with a double door and at the same time be integrated into the worship space to which it would be destined.
Gradually, the design, which also contemplated a glass moon for the exhibition, was finalized until this model, versatile and elegant, which you can see in this drawing made digitally.
This tabernacle is one of the most adaptable models we currently offer and is suitable for both small chapels, due to space issues, and larger churches. Its overall dimensions can be easily adjusted and the interior can accommodate several large ciboria.
The display stand is made of sterling silver and is embellished with floral motifs made with the enamel technique. The main designs on the doors include the Agnus Dei, the Cross with the Symbols of the Four Evangelists and the Alpha and Omega emblem, as well as two adoring angels.
Here you can see some images of the tabernacle already installed in the parish of San José Obrero in Burgos.
