Ornamentation of the altars of the Fontana Nova de Roma cultural association.

Often it is enough to add small details to embellish any space and provide the most appropriate solution without making major changes or major works.

In this case, it was a matter of decorating the existing altars of the Fontana Nova de Roma cultural association. For each altar, two different options were proposed, opting for light tan metal pieces as the key material.

In the Administration oratorya series of figures on the front and side arches of the altar. The first option consists of two gothic style angels in adoring position, one on each side of the central arch, and carvings of the same height as the angels, placed at the ends of the front and in the arches of the sides of the altar.

In the second optionIn the altar, the hollows of the altar are occupied by the Patron Saints of the Work, with the archangels to the right of the tabernacle and the apostles to the left. On the base of the images their names will be engraved in Latin. In both options, a Rose of Rialp also in bronze, occupies the central hole under the Seal of the Work.

For the oratory of the Academic Zone The idea was to use a quatrefoil decoration in conjunction with the onyx squares of alternating colors of the altar. In a first option, figures with volume alternate with crosses and stars, crosses on red squares in allusion to Christ's sacrifice on the altar and stars on the green as an allegory of the hope of Heaven that comes to us through this sacrifice..

In the second option, the squares are decorated with openwork plates occupying their entire dimension and forming geometric designs, following the style of straight lines of the oratory. We have chosen the combination of circles and squares to symbolize the two natures of ChristThe divine represented by the circles and the human symbolized by the squares. We propose the combination of silver and bronze pieces to emphasize this play of colors in the three pockets of the altar, although an option of all the pieces in bronze finish is also elegant. In this altar, only the decoration of the front has been proposed, not the sides.
