Pope Francis closes the Year of Faith to which GRANDA joined with different initiatives

Last Sunday, November 24, the Pope Francis officially closed the Year of Faith with a Mass celebrated in St. Peter's Square attended by thousands of pilgrims.

The objective of the Year of Faith was to establish a period of reflection on the teachings of the Church to help Catholics better understand its doctrine in order to evangelize.

It has been a task carried out by two Popes. It began on October 11, 2012, as a initiative of Benedict XVI. Throughout the year, masses, debates and a multitude of meetings have been organized in order to arouse a desire to know and share the Catholic faith.

GRANDA wanted to join in the Year of Faith by participating in different events such as the Fiesta de las Familias (December 2012) for which it carried out the eucharistic lighthouse designed by the architect Eduardo Delgado and the artist Javier Viverand facilitated the custodyowned by GRANDA, for the EUCHARISTIC ADORATION 40-hour course organized by the Diocese of Madrid in the Plaza de Colón. GRANDA also wanted to promote the Eucharistic Adoration chapels throughout Spain by producing a special album. Finally, and still on the occasion of the Year of Faith, GRANDA published an new liturgical collectionof great beauty: Cristatus.
