Rinascimento Collection

Liturgical trousseau composed of tabernacle and set of cross and altar candlesticks. The set is the result of a collaboration with the famous American architect dedicated to sacred works, Dunkan Stroik. The central idea is the concept of the tabernacle as an architectural reproduction of the temple, widely used in the Renaissance, which symbolically underlines its status as the dwelling place of the living God. This tabernacle has the form of a small temple, with the exterior entirely built in marble. Its front has the form of a classic frontispiece with columns and triangular pediment, a scheme that is repeated without the pediment on the sides. Its roof is an octagonal dome with a drum and topped with a metal cross. The interior is completely covered with ornamented gilded metal, and its door is embossed with a consecrated form over a chalice. The cross and altar candlesticks reproduce Renaissance forms, decorated with gallonado motifs, acanthus leaves and laurels. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
