The main streets of Cayala, one of the fastest growing areas in Guatemala,
converge in the Church of Santa Maria Reina de la Familia. As an extension, in the
interior of the temple, the entire architectural design is directed to the tabernacle.
The sagrario that we had the satisfaction of making in our Workshops, recreates the
the historicist style in accordance with the architecture of this magnificent new temple. It is
framed by two large hand-embossed silver plates with scroll motifs
vegetables. Inside, it has an expositor to facilitate the Eucharistic adoration, which
may also be covered when the Blessed Sacrament is not exposed.
The church was dedicated last April 30 in a solemn ceremony presided over by
Monsignor Gonzalo de Villa y Vásquez, Archbishop of Guatemala.
