The pavilion for the custody of the parish of Santa María la Blanca de Alcorcón will be inaugurated on next Sunday, June 2, during the feast of Corpus Christi.
To celebrate the festivity, a mass will be held in the town hall square of Alcorcón, from where the float carrying the pavilion and will walk through the streets of the central case before returning to the parish.
The pavilion has been built handcrafted in the art workshops that GRANDA it possesses in Alcalá de Henares. It is made of gilded wood with German gold on the mission.
Santa María la Blanca is the oldest parish church in Alcorcón, head of the archpriesthood where, in addition to the new altar and ambo, both made by GRANDA last year, there is an altarpiece attributed to Churriguera.
