This oratory is located in Amsterdam, inside a recently renovated old building. This project, like many of those that come to Talleres de Arte Granda, was first formulated and designed in general lines by the architect Mila Estela, in charge of the rehabilitation of the building, which in turn left in the hands of our team of architects, designers and planners, the task of defining it and making it a reality.
From the outset, the design for the rehabilitation of the building was based on the idea that the chapel should be the one to express this continuity between the new and the old, thus avoiding the loss of the building's memory of the past.. Therefore, although the layout has changed and many elements have been renovated, maintains the original set of altarpiece and altar, now restored, as central elements.

The constructive development was carried out along these lines, so that the choice of materials and the color palette would respect the prominence of the paintings and the polychrome wooden altar. Light tones were chosen: cream marble for the flooring and cladding of the front wall of the presbytery, white lacquered frame for side and rear wall cladding, and light wood for the banks. Light tones that illuminate the room and allow the main elements to take center stage. Altarpiece, altar and the timid green upholstery of the pews, are the only elements that add color to the estancia.

The benches, made of light wood, bring, with the color of the upholstery, a timid note of color that enters into dialogue with the two main elements.
One of the solutions proposed was the creation of a modern lattice to hide elements such as the heating system on the side of the oratory.
This has been the work done for months to carry out this project. A task that would have been impossible without a large team of professionals capable of developing integral projects, generating designs based on ideas proposed by clients and providing innovative artistic solutions. which are then applied with great attention to detail.
