The purpose

of this project was to organize the space and its decorative elements in a way that would reflect values of the Congregation of the Hospitaller Sisters, especially the beauty of simplicity. The warm color palette of the interior serves as an invitation to worshippers, while the decorative elements combine fully carved round sculpture, particularly the image of Christ that marks the axis of the central composition, with two figurative contemporary brushstroke technique paintings located on the sides. The paintings show the Virgin Mary with the Child and St. Benedict Menni, the founder of the Congregation. The practical aspect of the design allows for the expansion of the nave area so that the twenty-seven seats available for daily mass can be doubled as needed.
