Christ Resurrected And The Holy Family

The altarpiece of this chapel consists of three large paintings. In the center, Christ resurrected emerges triumphant, while the Virgin with the Child and St. Joseph look towards Him from the sides. The paintings have an idealized realistic treatment. The faces are incredibly detailed, while a simpler style was used for the bodies and clothes. The background in all of them was made in golden tones, a symbol of divinity and eternity, a method frequently used in Gothic art, which we reinterpreted with a contemporary solution of cubic plans, giving movement to the images.
