Liturgical trousseau The set was especially designed for a Neo-Romanesque interior. Accordingly, its main elements were inspired by outstanding pieces of the Spanish medieval silverware. The large tabernacle recreates the enameled altarpiece of San Miguel de Aralar (12th century). The shape of the sanctuary lamp reproduces the votive crown of Recceswinth (7th century). Both the tabernacle and the lamp were crafted following silverware techniques used in making the original pieces.
