Chasuble.
Silk damask with a hand-embroidered orphrey
In this chasuble, the damask pattern on the fabric of this chasuble, woven in classic style, is intentionally juxtaposed with the design of the Art Deco-inspired panel to create an interesting and refreshing design. The motifs are hand-embroidered appliqué with gold cords and green silk thread stitches. The embroidered image of the Virgin with the Child is a reproduction of the central Marian image of the parish that commissioned the chasuble. The original Virgin and Child are also a model crated in the Granda workshop.
