Bishop’s Crosier

A spiral-shaped crozier volute decorated with acanthus leaves inspired by ornamental motifs from the 15th and 17th centuries. The volute was forged by hand, and its decoration was chiseled and cast. The volute is crowned with the gilded silver figure of the Pelican feeding its young, an ancient Christological symbol. The cluster takes the shape of a church edifice with golden figures of Saints superimposed on the niches. The staff is made up of sections that can be disassembled for safe transport.
