This church,

built at the beginning of the 20th century, presented a decorative imbalance between its well-crafted ceiling and stained-glass windows and the sparsely decorated sanctuary. A renovation concept that integrated well with the modern style of the building while introducing elegant decorative elements was designed. To do so, a reinterpretation of the Californian neo-Gothic style of the time was chosen, based on simplifying the elements into polygonal shapes, among which the octagonal one stands out.

Both

the main altarpiece and the lateral ones follow this scheme and combine gilt, reliefs and exposed wood that find echo in the decoration of the nave.Marbled polychromy details bring clarity to the overall aesthetic, creating a contrast that highlights the iconographic program.
