Altarpiece of St. Nicholas in the Co-cathedral of Soria
Featured Works: Soria-SPAIN
St. Nicholas
is a plateresque altarpiece from the 16th century attributed to Francisco de Agreda and Francisco Logroño, realized in carved and polychrome wood. Our intervention solved the structural problems of the support as well as those concerning the preservation of gilding and polychromies. We removed repaints and chromatically reintegrated the loss of polychromy where necessary. Financing: Castile and León Historical Heritage Foundation. Execution: Talleres de Arte GRANDA S.A.
