Chasuble

Hand embroidery on natural silk damask.

This chasuble, in the classic guitar shape, is a replica of an antique from the collection of one of our clients. Its decoration was hand-embroidered with gold thread using needle painting technique, featuring natural silk threads and sewn appliqués. Some of the decorative motifs are embroidered with gold wire fringes. The natural silk damask pattern is inspired by Gothic precedent.
