Painting large format painting in collaboration with the artist Nacho Valdés. The Virgin has the Child sitting on her lap, and the protective figure of St. Joseph is standing behind them. The Child looks attentively at the kind face of Melchior who is kneeling as he presents his offering. The Magi are represented in such a way that their physical features allude to the three continents that were known in the Middle Ages, i.e., Africa, Asia, and Europe. This iconographic solution, with a long tradition, shows them as representatives of humanity, who comes to adore Jesus.
