Hand-made embroidered chasuble mainly in viscose, but can also be made in silk, satin and gold brocade. This model of chasuble was used in the Pope Francis' funeralGiovanni Battista. It was the same one that Benedict XVI wore, still as a cardinal, at the funeral of St. John Paul II. It was made in 1988 and used on June 19 of that year by Pope John Paul II at the canonization of the Vietnamese martyrs. The embroidery used on the chasuble is that of hand-applique with gold tissue.
